I have been very please with the quality, and the amount of time the host allows for listerner to call in with their opinions. This station is a sports fanatic dream. This station represents Atlanta well.

I hate it but that is mainly because Atlanta is now a music radio wasteland...
I love sports and follow them all the time but I hate sports radio.

Not pleased at all with the change. 92.9 was fine the way it was and now, as said by others above, Atlanta is sorely lacking. No variety at all anymore. Just a bunch of talk radio and top 10 or 20 bs.
Medium sized markets have better stations! Its sad when I have to resort to a Macon station on the south side of town and an Athens station on the east side.

92.9 is by far the worst of the 3 sports radio stations in Atlanta... which is saying something. The hosts routinely lack any knowledge on the subjects they are talking about. On top of the uninformed hosts who spout-off obnoxious "Sports Radio Douche" opinions, they apparently screen nothing from the callers who are even less informed and downright stupid. It is an absolute disaster IMO.

I've listened to it a little while down for the holidays and I'm not impressed. It's just what you'd expect when you give jocks hours and hours of empty air time to fill. And like GT said, some of those callers sound like extras from Deliverance or Sling Blade(hell, even some of the hosts do as well) and the hosts do a horrible job of leading them. The same callers call multiple times during the same show and the hosts just laugh it off. Very shoddy and unprofessional in my opinion.
DaveFM didn't thrill me but it was better than this irrelevant drivel. I didn't think Atlanta radio could get any worse but it has. Bring back the Z.

I personally love having sooooo many options in female centric pop music, meathead rock, country, rap, talk. What else do you need?

Not as weird as WGST going spanish sports but still seems odd that the old Z93 music station is now all sports. In the quest for radio formats as music declines, you never know, liberal talk radio might eventually have a market niche.
Personally, talking incessantly about sports doesn't seem healthy for a culture. Funny that 24-hour news radio doesn't work but news talk radio does.
