I think that's right. Emory is really premium area, however, so I guess they can charge the big rents.

I think Metro Atlanta food scene has already changed a lot but many don't realize that. If you go on Buford highway, you find all kinds of ethnic restaurants along with Americans. Then you have Midtown and Buckhead and even some in downtown area. There are all kinds of restaurants throughout the metro area. One night in September, it was after 3 am and we were hungry after a night out and I found Chinese restaurant that was still open. This is one of many things which makes a major city different from smaller towns. The options and varieties of foods and open late.

What I would like to see more is mixed use developments, not just in one area but more of that kind and this owuld make them more affordable because it wouldn't be limited. Right now you have to pay so much more just because you live near a store or restaurant. But things are changing for the better. Heck we see smaller towns going big now and building high rise apartments, mid rise and mixed use structures. If they're doing it, Atlanta definitely has to as well.

Sounds like 2 great projects for a booming area of town. Glad to see it will share parking with 2 other developments. Not every new multi-family construction needs its own parking garage.
