Hi I am looking to get some info from anybody that knows about this. I am looking to find a job working the front desk at a hotel in or around ATL and I have no idea how much to ask for when I am filling out my application. If anybody has any feedback please let me know. Thanks and have a great day!!!

I wouldn't think much more than minimum wage.

Maybe more if you are willing to work weekends or if you are going for a higher end service oriented hotel.

But don't worry, because I highly doubt anybody hiring for those jobs cares about what you ask for. The job pays what it pays, I wouldn't think there is much room for negotiation on front desk hotel jobs. So just put "negotiable" on your application.

I have previously worked for Hotel Indigo Midtown (the flagship) circa 2004 and they started us off at $8.50 and when I left around 2007 was making around $11.00, so experience is everything. Hope this helps. You will be full-time...and nights and the auditors do make more money!!
