Hey everyone,

In your opinion, if you had to rank the top #5 roughest areas inside or just outside the perimeter of Atlanta, what would they be?

I'm talking about trailer parks, high-poverty zones, dilapidated areas and forgotten communities.

I have seen very small areas with trailers here and there. They aren't the trailer parks that you think of where there is an office and mailboxes and everything, they look more like a parcel of land that has allowances for 5 or 6 trailers. Most of them look pretty old, so I imagine they have been there for a long time.

But you're right, they aren't very common at all.

There is a NASTY looking trailer park in the east point area.
Google Maps

I find the bluffs area to be one of the roughest parts of town. At least the couple of times I have been there, during the day, I always get flagged down by dudes chilling on the corner clearly selling los drugos.

Hooker town right heah

College Park and East Point have very nice areas BTW, very incorrect to label the whole area as sketchy.

There are actually some very nice areas in both East Point and College Park. Just because they are on the southside does not mean they are totally ghetto or trashy.

Wow Tiki,

You are right about that nasty looking trailer park in East Point. As I was taking a tour via google maps, I noticed that the trailers were painted bright colors, similar to houses I've seen in Little Five Points, which I found interesting.

Anyone know of any other trailer parks similar to this?

Also, anyone know of any really poor white communities/neighborhoods in Atlanta?

As far as "Hooker Town", your right about that. Fulton Industrial Boulevard has had that reputation for quite some time.

Anyone who is reading this thread is laughing. One or two "nice houses" doesn't make an area. Don't come crying to me.
