Their definition of "hot" and "up-and-coming" differ from mine.

How are these neighborhoods of Atlanta? They are their own cities outright.
The description of these are complete real estate agent BS, eg:
Quote:
"Roswell is considered a suburb, but is still close enough to downtown Atlanta.
In traffic it will be a nightmare.
Quote:
Suwanee has easy access to freeways to downtown Atlanta,
Through the most congested freeway in the state of GA.
I do agree with the majority of the assessments, but the closeness to Atlanta was way oversold on the 2 mentioned above.

None of those could be considered "up and coming" by anyone with a functioning brain.

I agree that those being named the hottest "up and coming" areas is ridiculous, for all the reasons posted above. But, in your opinion, which neighborhoods are the most up and coming? My vote for number 1 is the Old Fourth Ward/Sweet Auburn. I'm not sure what 2 and 3 are, but probably some in the same area. Maybe Summerhill?

What are your opinions?

For most outsiders, its suburbs + Atlanta are all the same, you know? Another list to dismiss, I suppose. - though I do like Roswell a lot myself.

Like most of you, I would have thought they meant something in Atlanta proper, not the suburbs.

The neighborhoods I am most excited about in the next few years are West Midtown (growing fast and still affordable housing near by) and the Old 4th Ward (especially Ponce City Market).
