Well, there's Atlanta Memorial, which is about 100 acres, and a number of smaller ones like Frankie Allen, Garden Hills, Shady Valley, Tanyard Creek, Peachtree Hills, etc.

But I agree that there should be more. Our whole city is hurting for parks.

Atlanta Memorial is a beautiful park with a great view of Peachtree Creek. I recommend a visit to anyone who's never been.

This section of Buckhead near 400 is seriously in need of extra public green space of any kind. I think this plan for a Beltline-type park and trail they have is great.

Obviously there are more, but I knew if I didn't name Chastain someone would make a big deal about it.
The Buckhead CBD is in need of greenspace. Nothing but skyscrapers and parking lots.

I forgot both the source and the exact statistic, but Atlanta is about at the bottom of the list when it comes to public green space per capita.

I think it's five percent of the city. NY is about twenty. Nola is twenty five. I could be remembering wrong. We have much more private green space of course.

Also the fact that our city/metro population balance is so far off from other cities could skew any info. We have some huge parks in the metro area.
