85 million in improvements? What are they going to do - coat the building in gold? Isn't that building 30 or 35 stories high? That comes to 2.5 million per floor? I think everyone has lost their mind.

Landed a big tenant, Koch Business Solutions. While I hate everything the Koch Brothers stand for, I am glad to see the historic office building landing tenants.

The Equitable is one of the city's iconic buildings, and a historic treasure coming up on its 50th birthday.

Love this photo from the History Center showing the Equitable presiding over downtown back in 1985. Business was jumping at Five Points jumping in those days!

Great example of international style architecture.

How I feel about The Equitable Building losing it's glowing sign!

Georgia's Own Credit Union is moving forward with plans to relocate its headquarters downtown to The Equitable Building where, as the anchor tenant, will put its name atop the tower.

Georgia's Own Credit Union should be ashamed of that atrocious logo. They actually paid a firm to design that? Or was it found in a garbage can at the end of bring your kids to work day?

The Equitable sign is part of the building fabric. Why on earth would Georgia Own CU remove?
