Hallelujah. I've been fussing at MARTA about this for years.

Buy a subscription instead of trying to mooch off the pay based content.

I figured someone would have that response. I'm not buying a subscription just to read 2 or 3 articles. Oh well.

MARTA owns a lot of valuable real estate. Time they started developing it and earning revenue.

King Memorial and HE Holmes have a lot of potential. While there is already some serious development going on in the area, it would be nice to make it pleasant around the station. It would nice to comfortably walk b/t the station and Edgewood. That area has tons o' potential to be more walkable with the streetcar coming in.

HE Holmes just has a lot of potential for apartments, which isn't as exciting, but it certainly seems underutilized at this point. I may be speculating too much as I have never used that station, only driven by it, but it doesn't seem too friendly for your average suburban commuter. If development spruces up the area it could help add additional commuters from the westside.

Another one they mention is Brookhaven. There's already a lot going on there and MARTA could really help. They ought to put in a platform station at Town Brookhaven (no parking or anything like that).
