So tomorrow is Paczki Day. Anyone know any places in Atlanta that sell paczkis? Best fat Tuesday snack ever!

I want to bring some in to the office and the only place I'm googling is a bakery in Lawrencville, which is way too far to go in the morning from dowtown.

Having lived in Atlanta for a year and being originally from Ohio, you would likely have an easier time finding a Polish bakery in Jamaica.

This place isn't any more convenient to downtown than Lawrenceville but is the only local Polish store that I can think of. It's in Suwanee.

In a nutshell? A jelly donut. Except the ones I've had aren't filled with jelly, but with cream, prune, lemon, or various fruit purees. Powdered sugar on top.

They are only in the stores for a limited time, maybe 2 weeks? Grab them while you can, you can always diet tomorrow.

I've seen the generic grocery store ones in a white box with 'Paczki's' in red at the South Cobb, Smyrna Kroger over the weekend.

Any authentic Polish or eastern European bakeries in the Smyrna, Marietta even Atlanta proper areas??
