Obama will be visiting my kids CoD Pre-K, College Heights this Thursday. The kids are so excited. It's a fabulous lottery-funded Pre-K in a fabulous school system.

Awesome! It's good to see the president showing our state some love. I was in Atlanta the last time he was in town, I believe it was spring of last year. The connector was completely blocked to accommodate his motorcade. It was a hassle but it's understandable.

Hopefully he lands somewhere on that side of town and not at Dobbins.

Yay, now traffic will be backed up for ages on Thursday. Not saying, I don't welcome President Obama, but some people gotta get home or get to classes.

Unless he has an engagement in Marietta as well, based on the FAA's flight restriction map, he'll be landing at Dobbins. The times for the TFRs are from 11:00am to 3:15pm so hopefully rush hour itself won't be too bad. I commute to Marietta from Conyers arriving about 10 that morning, but leaving at 2:15. For purely my sake, I hope he doesn't take I-285, though with the Decatur TFR ending at 2:30, hopefully he'll be leaving a bit earlier than that and I'll avoid the mess all together.
