I been saying this for ages. This is a business and certain people can make money by it being a crime. There are many more cops who do this and haven't been caught. When they are given such power and nobody watches over them, this is what happens. It's not a surprise that the employees at Dekalb county recorders court were involved in a money making scam. It went on for years with nobody watching over them. Suck crook employees should not only lose their job but should spent a very long time in prison to make them an example and punish them For their crimes.

Thins like this are not okay and should not be tolerated.

In fact, it's an even better argument to crack down. If crooked cops are to be found everywhere, then all we have to do is crack down a little bit before the drug dealers find another easy target city to do business in.
Amen! I hate to think this is accepted that this is just the way it is. Any officers found guilty of this sort of corruption should have to serve a full life sentence. It is akin to treason as far as I am concerned.

Exactly. And it's not as if there isn't a very good example to use to prove this point: 1.) Alcohol prohibition began. 2.) Not long after there was the rises of moonshiners, underground distribution, and making a lot more money than it was sold for when it was legal. 3.) Illegal importing. 4.) Organized crime. Lots and lots of crime.

What happened to alcohol after prohibition was struck down: No more of that activity related to alcohol. At least not more than the occasional problem.

I suppose we should stop looking for a cure for cancer, too, since cancer happens everywhere.

Dumb statement.
