Georgia Perimeter College
Can anyone tell me more about this college?
Can one use the credit from it to go to 4 year college after graduating, such as Atlanta Tech?
Also, are Dunwoody and Decatur campuses located in the safe area?
thank you!

Check their TAG (Transfer Admission Guarantee). You can transfer to most public schools in GA if you have 2.8 GPA. Dunwoody campus is pretty safe. Don't know about other campus.
TAG!* You're in a Four Year College

Thank you!
Can someone also tell me if Dunwoody campus is accessable by public transportation?
We are going to Atlanta for the first time this weekend, so I'm pretty clueless about where everything is so far.

Yes Dunwoody Campus is accessable by public transportation.there is a bus stop in front of the campus. It takes you to Marta Station in Chamblee which takes you practically anywhere all over Atlanta. You can get on the train at the station or you can get on another bus to take you where ever it is you need to go. I go to Dunwoody Campus GPC all their credits all fully transferable i go here because all the other Campuses are not in the heart of Atlanta I guess, and the rest of them are far,and not my kind of people you know....

Georgia Perimeter College's Decatur campus and Clarkston campus are just as safe as Dunwoody campus. Whoever's been telling you otherwise probably hides in a closet with their blanket on a daily basis. Also GPC is a 2 year school accredited under the Georgia Board of Regents University System. That means that the credits will transfer to nearly any state school under the GBOR system, save for some restrictions. Most people usually transfer to Georgia State University, Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State and the University of Georgia after graduating from GPC.
I had the pleasure of attending all 3 campus including the one in Rockdale(don't know if it is still open) and by far GPC's Clarkston campus is the best one to me. I love the mixture of Ethiopian, Bosnian, Indian, Vietnamese and Somalian cultures there, and I formed more genuine relationships there than anywhere else in my University career (currently I attend Georgia State university). Also MARTA definitely serves Decatur and Clarkston campus.
I hope that I've answered at least some of your questions.

All of the campuses are safe. You may notice differences in demographics (yes, the difference bothers some people). Credits are transferrable. As a matter of fact, many of the summer students are transients from Kennesaw State, Georgia State, Valdosta, and even Auburn. For the Decatur campus, there is a bus that stops in front of the campus (don't know if MARTA stops nearby). I think the Dunwoody campus is nicest aesthetically. In terms of extra activities on campus, like concerts, art openings, theater/plays, etc, Clarkston's campus is probably the best. At certain times of day, traffic around Dunwoody's campus can be a nightmare. Last but not least, you are not limited to only taking classes on one campus, and there are also online and hybrid classes.
