Deal to announce on Monday whether he'll suspend DeKalb board members

Looks like this could well be going through. Good decision or bad decision on the part of our governor: what do you think?

Aren't three of them just elected? If so, why remove them now?

They are going to leave the 3 on. But they most certainly should remove the rest. I am sick of the clown show and completely disgusted that they have decided to use my tax dollars to file a law suit to stop it. I think Deal will go ahead and remove them.

I have mix'ed feelings about this.

They (all 9) did get elected, If this is what the voters wanted, I don't think the state step in and say we don't like the way you are running things we are going to boot you out.

Flip side, The whole county (I would guess Decatur & Atlanta voters don't get to vote for them since they have there own school districts). And the ones who care are the parents by in large. The most of the rest of the voter don't care much, and pick the name that like/heard of. or vote more/less randomly, Other then the millage rate & Property vales (and renters don't care about that) , what the school board does not overly effect them.

I'd be concerned about who might replace them.
