Is there still a Trader Joe's in Marietta?
I went online to look up Trader Joe's, a shopping chain common the the West Coast. I happen to find a listing for a location in Marietta along Roswell Road. My question is: Is it still there? The reason I ask is because I don't have a car and I don't want to waste a bus trip from Kennesaw(more like two even though I will be in the same county.) only to find that the place has closed or gone somewhere else and I do now about retail stores changing location or shutting down. I have seen it happen.

Why don't you just call the store?

Indeedy, TJ's is at Pine Straw Place at the intersection of Upper Roswell Rd and Johnson Ferry...not to be confused with the location at the 'real' Roswell Rd and Johnson Ferry in Sandy Springs, about 5 miles closer to ATL. Either place is a bit of a haul by bus...good luck.

It's more of East Cobb so it's not too close to Kennesaw. But yes, it is still there.

It was still there Wednesday afternoon when I was over that way.
FWIW, none of the Atlanta-area TJ's have been around long enough to have closed yet, and they've been popular enough I doubt any will anytime soon.

TJ's is an interesting store, but I much prefer shopping at the Kroger near us. Roswell Road is just too far to drive.

Trader Joe's in Marietta
Sure thing! I was there today. Just as the other person posted, it's at the intersection of Roswell and Johnson Ferry Road.

I love TJ's. It doesn't take the place of my "regular" market though. I buy mostly the out of the ordinary stuff there, not staples.

Someone told me that they heard somewhere that they might be opening a TJs in West Cobb, maybe somewhere around Whitlock in Marietta. Can anyone confirm this? It would be so great not to have to drive all the way to Johnson's Ferry on Roswell from Smyrna/Vinings...
