It is cool looking. However, so much of the cost is flash over function. Why not just build a top notch outdoor stadium for half the price and be done with it? Sure we might lose out on a few events, but we'd keep most of them for 1/2 the price.

I t really like Seattle's stadium design and the way it traps sound.

I would've been happy with a Lucas Oil clone, which cost about 3/4 the amount of the new stadium.

And lose the Chick-fil-a kickoff and bowl games, SEC football and basketball championship, BCS playoff games, Final Fours, etc? The College Football HOF is being built at COP, this is the heart of college football.

I agree, but look at it this way. I oppose the 300MM used, but that's spilled milk. Now that we (hotel guest), have to pony up the money.. I hope it cost 3 billion dollars, the tax is capped, so we are already in. Let's make this thing the best stadium in the world.

But they are not satisfied. Not satisfied to the tune of the Falcons dropping over $800 million and then paying a lease and all the maintenance on the new building then giving the stadium away to the GWCC at the end of its lease.

Yes, he would fund the remaining, but the stadium will technically belong to the taxpayers according to the agreement. Anyway, let's hope it cost him 5 billion, lol.
