Default alpharetta house cleaners??

Hi all

We're moving from Toronto to Alpharetta ( in Forsyth) in December. We bought a 2800 square foot house ( 5 beds) with a basement.

Being a busy family with 5 kids, I'm looking for someone to clean my house 2x month... at a reaonable cost - what can I expect? Any recommendations?

Generally speaking people in the south expect you to clean your own house just as we do. You assign your spouse and your kids chores and make it clear you expect it done. That is the way we do things down here. We do not have large Polish populations here and the Mexicans are usually busy working at hotels and restaurants. BTW my wife is from T.O. (Pickering) and she cleaned her own house when she lived there too except when I came up and cleaned it for her. Also there is a Canadian embassy here in Midtown (Colony Square) and, if you wanna not be completely dissconnected from Canada, both ExpressVu and Star Choice work here too.

I don't use a service, but plenty of people do. Just wait a couple of weeks and somebody will stick a flyer on your mailbox or a pebble-weighted baggie at the end of your driveway advertising their services. If you can't wait that long, there are lots of franchises listed in the phone book, such as The Maids.
