please anyone i need to know if riverdale area is good or bad my friend wants me to move there but i really need to know and also are the schools ok oh and 1 more thing i heard georgia has a large hiv/aids rate is this a fact PLEASE HELP PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Bremen City School System in Haralson County is one of the best in Georgia (do not confuse it with Haralson County Schools which are best avoided). This school system is so good that fully half of the students live outside city limits and so pay tuition and are carefully screened before admittance. There is a waiting list to get in for those who live outside city limits.

Bremen is a long drive to ATL but it is doable particularly if you work in the Downtown/Midtown area.

Um, Bremen City Schools are public, right? Other than refusing to admit kids who have been expelled from another school, a city school system like Bremen is not allowed to "carefully screen" people who want to pay tuition. It's against the law to do that. They have to accept anyone who is willing to pay tuition (except expelled students) on a first come/first served basis or on a lottery basis.

I don't know the criteria for admission but I do know that just because someone has the tuition money and is first in line they don't automatically get accepted. Problem students are kept out.
