It's amazing what DL is able to do in ATL. Yesterday (November25) was the largest travel day of the year as they added over 200 departures vs next weekend and flew 34 more departures yesterday than they did on the biggest days of this past summer.

Spirit is adding seasonal Atlanta-Denver service. It's a horrendous schedule (outbound arrives at 11PM, return is a red eye that gets in at 5AM) but I'll take the additional traffic and competition.

Yuck. I know that Frontier has their eastbound Las Vegas-Atlanta route as red eye. I guess it all comes down to scheduling and availability.

I think Frontier is using one of the Common Use gates. They have to take what time slots are available for them.

Also since they are the ULCC there will be passenger enough to fill the plane most of the time, It also get another cycle a day out of there plane.

ATL - Vancouver flights are loaded through late November, so it looks to be turning from summer seasonal into a year-round flight!

Delta applies for Atlanta to Tokyo Haneda Airport. I expect the current Atlanta to Tokyo Narita to end once approved.

I've been thinking they need a second flight to TYO. Whether it's another Delta flight or JAL to either airport. JAL used to fly direct to ATL until Delta started the service. But now that flight is always full, and overpriced. Hence why they need a second one.
