Plain and simple. The "white victim" stuff is a thin veil for hateful rhetoric. We are not oppressed or underrepresented.

Considering the majority of the Universities in this country are overwhelmingly white how is that possible? If anything the blacks and latinos are the minority in the majority of colleges and Universities.

I was actually thinking about elementary and high schools, but see my comments above.

I read the article fully and I'm not personally agreeing with them by any means and I actually think the kid is quite ignorant, BUT, they do have a right to form an organization on campus. If they didn't allow them to have an organization, then it wouldn't be fair to have a black student union or hispanic student union or asian student union. Also, I said many of the minority groups on campus would love to have whites in their groups. I know the ones that I know that are involved are very well received by many of the minority organizations and I've personally even heard many of my black friends involved on campus say they wished that there was a little more diversity within their groups. I NEVER said they wished to have a white hate group however.

This is true, when I was attending school at PSU we had a couple of white males and females in the Black Student Union. Out of curiosity I asked one of them why did they join and he said that intially he was interested as to what was going on and then he got involved in the activities and stayed in. The one girl said that she grew up around blacks all of her life and felt comfortable around them.
