My husband just got a job offer in Norcross, he would start in 2 weeks if we take it. What are some good areas to live in (we would be renting)? We know nothing about the area. We are looking at Suwanee, Duluth, and Lawrenceville. Are those good areas?, I know Suwanee is. We would be coming from Tallahassee, FL. We have 4 kids, 9, 5, 3, and 7 months. Also what are good schools? I have a 4th grader and kindergartener.

what part of Norcross? Traffic to/fromross can be a real bear. Johns Creek and Suwanee are the first places I'd start looking...

ahh, I know ACI well. Peachtree Corners Area. So yeah, "Johns Creek" should be first on your list. Suwanee is also a good choice, but the commute will be painful as traffic is horrible to/from that area from Suwanee.

I am also moving to Norcross in about 2 weeks (I am moving out of the city from a location I absolutely *love*).

I would take a very hard look at Roswell east of GA400. Your husband's commute would only be about 20 minutes (~10 miles) and you would still be within 20 miles of the city. Schools are fairly decent as well.
