My family will be moving to the N Atlanta area next summer...I have friends and family in the Forsyth County area. My question is this, as I am looking for homes online, are there any other towns I can search in Forsyth? The only one that seems to come up is Cumming, which I love, but I'd like to view other towns in Forsyth as well.
I assume it's because maybe Cumming is the largest town in Forsyth?

Cumming, the county seat and largest "city" in Forsyth Co. Cumming is the only incorporated city in the county. There are communities- Ducktown, Matt, Coal Mountain.
However, If you go by mailing address you'll get Canton (Cherokee Co), Suwanee (Gwinnett Co), Gainesville (Hall Co). Confusing I know. So, if looking at houses or ads for houses- look at these cities with some blurb about forsyth taxes. Then you'll know the physical location is Forsyth Co.

Oddly enough, part of Alpharetta (the Midway area) is in Forsyth County also
Most of Forsyth county is not in a town, but is actually unincorporated.
Same with Cobb, and probably all of the counties in the Atlanta metro except Fulton. Georgia is weird.
(Note to folks not familiar with Atlanta: unincorporated doesn't mean not suburban. It means no formal city exists. That doesn't mean you can tell the difference between one and the other simply by driving through, however...)
