Does anybody know which are the more reputable schools in Atlanta that offer a radiology tech program? I am looking into Gwinnett tech college, I hear Grady Hospital has one and also a school called IAMP on Peachtree-Dunwoody Rd. I think the first 2 are legit, but don't know how good they are, but I have no idea about IAMP. Can someone help me with some info? Also, i was told by a radiology tech at Gwinnett Medical that the Atlanta area is "saturated" with people trying to get into this field. Is that true?

hi i am thinking about radiology too and i am in touch with emory but you will need some pre-requisites course first.

Oh yes, the number of students enrolling to do their pre-reqs for Rad Tech and other programs is going up, up, and away. Gwinnett Tech and Grady are reputable, but you have to get past the Anatomy/Physiology. It's EXTREMELY competitive. There are students with 4.0 GPAs that don't get accepted into the programs.
