Hello,
Do you think that 100% feeder pattern has less chances of getting redistricted? According to my understanding, if a school has a 100% feeder pattern, the chances are less because lot of neighborhoods belong to that school, so it will be difficult to redistrict so many neighborhoods. What do you think? For example Sharon elementary does not have 100% feeder to Riverwatch whereas Johns Creek elementary & Settles bridge have. So aren't there less chances of Johns Creek & Settles Bridge not losing their feeder to Riverwatch? Thanks

Not necessarily. Redistricting is all about numbers. Some systems will go a while without split feeder patterns, then have to have them to balance enrollment.

If you buy in a solid school system, redistricting should be less of a worry because all schools are going to be fine (even if there is a test difference score).

You are really going to worry yourself into paralysis over this.

I am guessing that your child will do great at almost any school.

There are definitely redistricting plans in S. Forsyth. They can be found here:

Rumor is that Laurel Springs will move to S. Forsyth Middle which makes sense as it is closer than Riverwatch and is just as good a school though the building is older. They haven't stated what is moving where yet but that is the rumor. Also, Sharon has more room so it makes sense that more people will move to that school.
