Sandy Springs is very diverse as a community.

Are your children school age?

2013 or not, racism still exists. My husband and I are an interracial couple, and we had a couple of very unfortunate experiences in city of Decatur, which many people will tell you is a progressive, open-minded mecca of sorts. It can happen anywhere.

To the OP, we've not spent much time in Sandy Springs, but the experiences we've had there have all been positive. Hopefully others can chime in with their experiences in that area.

Don't mistake curiosity for racism and you'll be fine.

Any thoughts on what we may encounter, or things we should take into consideration? An honest, blunt response would be most appreciative, thanks!
Welcome to Sandy Springs, CheMon!

I think you'll find that we are a very welcoming, diverse community!
