clayton is— they won a nonbinding vote to add marta to the county a couple of years ago. i think gwinnett would approve it now also. cobb? no— not yet.

Clayton's county commission will not put a binding vote to the public because they know it will pass.

Cobb is about to miss the boat big time. I wonder if Clayton's commissioners will finally put a MARTA measure on the ballot?

Why would Clayton commissioners not want MARTA in their county?

Never understood this myself. Maybe they just don't want to have opponents say they ok'd a tax increase.

I wonder if they want their own system. Maybe run by them or their close friends. You know, something they can somehow profit from.

That's the only thing I can think of. Knowing the county, I wouldn't be surprised.

Default "MARTA in the black..."

Isn't that redundant...? I kid, I kid...lol. Just couldn't help myself and thought I'd beat someone to the punchline first.

Great news since Marta is the largest transit system in the United States that don't received money from their own State. Kudos, great job Marta.
