Exactly.

What is Cobb's poverty rate?

Gwinnett County's poverty rate of 12.4% isn't necessarily all that surprising given that Gwinnett County has grown so overwhelmingly diverse (racial minorities make up just under 60% of Gwinnett County's population) and that the county has gained a not-so-sterling reputation in recent years as being the East Coast distribution hub of Latin American drug cartels.

But the 11.3% poverty rate for Cobb County is somewhat higher than one might expect, particularly with Cobb County's history and reputation as a super-conservative affluent suburban enclave.

Though with an overabundance of relatively cheap housing (particularly cheaper multi-family housing and single-family rental housing throughout the southern half of the county) and a quickly-rising minority population (racial minorities make up just under 45% of Cobb County's population).
