Any one out there that finds the bus web site lame ? I'm getting hired on at the Hormel plant ... the people that make that lame canned chile... I want to get rid of my wheels when I move to the area but would like to know the bus
(s) that run/stop near the plant.

Plant location is off of Montreal rd. witch intersectes at Lavista rd. just west of 285.

Would dig any imput as to getting around that area on the bus line.

Bill D.
Camden sc. ...soon to be Atlanta Ga.

I think you will need your wheels.

When I have a moment I can look at the collection of bus schedules I brought home from the 5 Points Station last week.

The buses run frequently enough during peak times but after around 7PM you either need plenty of money for cabfare or be prepared to walk several miles.

I don't know a lot about other cities--but public transportation in the suburbs is not a priority around here. There have been some excellent discussions on this if you care to search the forum archives.

MARTA - Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority --> MARTA web page with bus and rail schedules

The answer to your question is = Bus #125, which passes through Montreal Rd and connects to the Avondale Rail stop on the East-West line.

The new MyCommute feature will be helpful depending on your starting point.
