i used to think the flag was cool when i was a little kid, but after i grew up and learned what it represented, i can't imagine anyone seeing that flag as a "pro" to living anywhere.

for those who are going to jump on my back— that flag wasn't even widely used until the late 1800s, and has little connection to the actual civil war. its primary use was for the oppression of blacks.
