Well I will go ahead and tell you, you are rare! I can probably tell you that most women our age look to older men for commitment (although now I see that logic is flawed) because most (not all) of the younger men in this city are having a good time...a really good time...and they aren't trying to settle down seemingly until they're 40. There's such an abundance of women here (not so sure about the quality) but sheer numbers are overwhelming, I guess.

I would really like to know what your experiences have been thus far. What type of women have you come across?

Yeah, I'm into duality sadly enough.

One girl I met (who had a boyfriend) wants to "hang out", but she has no money, despite having a job. Not only that, she refuses to do much other than play on a Sony Playstation. And I'm like, so you have no money, but you are choosy about the game system you wish to play on. Are you serious? And so, her suggestion was that we woudl sit around, tlak and laugh, but I'm liek we can do that over e-mail.

I have accumulated so many videogame systems due to the lack of progressive group activities(not clubbing) and I have had to pay people to play with me so far.

I think a lot of people are fronting fake incomes. That is aprt of why the recession hit people so hard.

I have also accumulated many DVDs and whatever other stuff since I first posted and now I need a yard sale to get rid of it. My local Gamestop stopped accepting trade ins.

Well, Orpah and others try to put out a 70% single figure, but I get the pinion that most have boyfriends or whatever. They just aren't legally married.

I have seen a "low level golddigger" who walks up and down the neighborhood where my mom lives. I notice her because I have to cut my mom's grass. Never pays attention to anything and is on her cellphone. Even a guy I had cutting the grass was ignored. Yet, I get approached when she saw me paying the guy off for another job. It was to buy a $5 CD.

I don't think I really see that many single women my age. I shop around the new Edgewood Shopping Center on Mroeland and Caroline Street, near 5 points.

And that is it for about 2 years.

I just think there is a strange mentality where beggars wish to be choosers, like with the girl who would only play PS2 or a PS3 she does not have(which she thought I would buy her for her birthday).

Me, I like multiplayer games with up to 4 players.

I think with the coming recession, I will just accept someone who will play with me. So, I met an old middle/high school friend.

It was what I was looking for before, but I'm expanding my options to male people.

The reason I limited it was because I had heard women saying that if a guy has guys aroudn him he might be gay. But, I'm not worried about the stigma because the women just are not around.

I see your experiences parallel many other people's experiences. People in Atlanta really front a lot, men and women. People with average incomes or even below average are often the ones with designer clothes and luxury cars. It's shameful. I have found that many men and women here are looking for a handout.

As far as progressive activities aside from clubbing...well, that's why I'm moving hopefully by August! I have a couple friends with the same complaints. There is nothing to do here aside from club. I hate the club so that leaves little else. In the mean time, I enjoy music so I might go to Sambuca, Churchill Grounds or Beluga's (although I thought Atlanta, a town full of blacks would have a good jazz scene and sadly it does not) and other people's company. I love art also but there are few events. Trust me, I know. I scour Creative Loafing!
