Yup. Just saw it on WSB. Building a new stadium at 75N and 285. 2016 will be their first year there.

Wow. I guess they feel this would help them with their attendance issues. Very surprised still. However I think that area has the atlanta mailing address so the location shouldn't surprise us. Im not even sure where the stadium and parking lot would go. They should have built this somewhere in the riverside area of Atlanta near Cobb.

I'm sure they did study upon study, and determined that their fan base was skewed north towards the northern burbs.

This will truly test the benefit of marta. Not having marta bus service from a nearby station there should be a big negative for us. Trafic will be nuts but I guess they hope please will have to drive less. I hope CCT steps it up with shuttles or something.
