It appears that there is going to be massive relocation of poor mostly black and Hispanics from Franklin Rd in Marietta and they will be replaced by vacant lots and eventually maybe middle class white people. The only thing I want to know is where are all these people going to go once they are forced out? As bad as Franklin is, it did serve a purpose of housing the poor. They have to live somewhere and I think we will suffer further declines in south Cobb and along Delk Rd which are already in decline. It does not seem wise to me to simply move the problem somewhere else.

Are you volunteering your subdivision as the new gathering place for the homeless in Marietta? If not then what is your solution?

You have a point. There are countless low paying service jobs in the area; the amount of affordable and accessible housing stock in the immediate area continues to diminish. Who is going to negotiate the labyrinthine transportation system for miles and miles to get to a minimum wage job.

There ARE expansive plots of farm land in Forsyth. Wonder what it will all look like in 10 to 20 years.

In 30 years the metro will have around 11 million people. Forsyth will look as Cobb does now.
