This is good news, indeed. Clayton State has a gorgeous campus and plenty of room to expand over time and they have Spivey Hall. I know their technology degree program has been strong for a while to the region. Another thing to note is that CSU has had a similar evening program non-credit classes that Emory has had for a long time for working adults or anyone else interested. Not bad for a 2 year community college that started out in 1969.

Apart from HBCUs, Clayton State has the absolutely worst prepared students who are most vulnerable.

Wait, what are you talking about. This makes absolutely no sense at all. CSU is a liberal arts state college, it is not a STEM school, it does not advertise itself as one either. Clayton State was just named the best value college in the state of Georgia and 9th overall in the state by James Magazine. Also CSU has a higher Return on Investment than GSU, KSU, and UGA. Not knocking these schools but CSU is doing just as well as the other schools in the state.

James Magazine? Never heard of it.
There's technically none such thing as a STEM school. A university is comprehensive meaning one is able to partake in learning in a variety of fields. Further, we need STEM support.
