I was just wondering...if you were to purchase a $100, 000 house in Mableton or Austell, along what areas in those towns would you purchase? Are there any "up and coming" areas that would be great to buy into now? Please help.

I don't know about Austell, but for Mableton a good affordable area are the neighborhoods along Nickajack Rd between Floyd Rd and Fontaine Rd. This area is close the western edge of Smyrna, the East West Connector and the Silver Comet Trail (three close access points).

Thank you for replying, Joe P. Would that be the only area in Mableton? Is there a particular affordable area with potential to double a house investment due to constructive changes in the near future? For example, public transportation or perhaps the relocation of the Braves?

I'm not sure, Cobb is anti public transportation (yes there is a bus line) in general and especially rail.
Not sure how the Braves move will impact things. It will definitely impact Smyrna more since the Braves will be in Smyrna, but have no idea what the impact will be.
