What Metro Atlanta communities, sections, or neighborhoods would you consider predominantly white working class areas? I know "working class" is subjective, but I would like your opinions. Thanks.

Generally, the exurbs to the East, South or West. Remember, the really affluent white areas are to the north of Atlanta.

excluding the exurbs, which are generally working class, and buckhead, which is mostly upper class, most white areas are more economically integrated than you would think. places like alpharetta, sandy springs, cobb county, etc. have a range of economic classes.

I understand. But that's really vague. What are some predominantly white working class neighborhoods in Alpharetta, for example? I'm sure we could easily point out the middle class and affluent communities there.

Are you saying that all the working class families in Alpharetta are interspersed with the middle and upper classes? If so, then you are saying there are no working class neighborhoods in alpharetta (where the the entire community share the same basic economic status). A few decades ago, one would say Cabbagetown was a predominately white working class area of Atlanta. I would like to know where, in Atlanta, can that be found today. I hope I am making sense?

It's an interesting question but sort of hard to answer without a more specific definition of working class. Are you talking about factory/mill workers, or are you defining it as an income group?

Good question. Poor folks work. Rich folks work.

Maybe some parts of Smyrna?

In my experience, working class areas are typically fairly well integrated.
