Hi,
My family is looking into a move to Atlanta this summer and we are trying to figure out which school districts, specific public schools or potentially private schools to look into. Our son is 4 years old and has spent the past 2 years in an integrated (50% special needs, 50% typical) public preschool environment. He has thrived in this environment and we are hoping to find a school for him that offers some services (speech & behavior mainly), but also offers an opportunity to be integrated with typical peers. We are open to putting him in an environment with mostly typical peers with a special education teacher/aide to help him.
Are there any schools in the North Metro area that would be a good fit for a high-funtioning, verbal kid with autism?
As my husband works in the high-tech industry, we are expecting to need to love in the north perimeter/Alpharetta/Marietta area.
Any/all information would be greatly helpful & appreciated.
Thanks!

I heard of a school called Walden, which follows an inclusion model.
