You have to post a google maps link of your route in this thread so that we all can agree or disagree with your choice.

We will start with Atlwarrior and Cwkimbro pick.

Then once you get to Peachtree you can take a right and go through Midtown, and continue into Buckhead or make another turn heading down Piedmont road neighborhoods. The 78 west route from Stone Mountain into Atlanta is route that is one of the best looking neighborhood routes into a major city in the United States.

Click up and down this road for a few minutes. It is a tree lined Boulevard with a long linear park along it.

One thing I find so interesting about Atlanta today is so many newcomers here just settle into certain suburbs, even if they commute downtown. Many, if not most, don't even know about some of the high character areas, like this area, Atlanta use to be known for.

You're cutting through the woods, and not stuck in traffic.

The left side bar of the screen with information, directions in it, etc....

At the top right corner is a small square graphic of two chain-links right next to the print icon.

Click it. It will give you a drop down window with a longer address to copy.

I love Peachtree Battle Rd, particularly when it divides into a boulevard with median.

Instead of posting pics and naming routes could you all post the google link so that we can see the route?

Directions….

- Go to https://maps.google.com/
- Type the name of the street and the city into the search engine
- Drag the little orange man to the street that you want us to see
- Click on the orange man
- Click on the chain on the left side of the page and copy and paste that link onto this thread
