If you get a job in Alpharetta your commute to/from Cumming would be perfect. I agree that if you are working downtown that you may want to consider moving closer in town. The problem with that is housing costs will be higher. With that being said, keep your fingers crossed you get the job in Alpharetta!

Canton is also an easy commute to Alpharetta using backroads. It would be remiss not to mention the angle of affordability in Canton and Cumming when comparing it to closer in areas that are certainly low crime, such as, Alpharetta/Roswell or East Cobb.
