Y'all are a sensitive bunch up there in Cobb. I was the first reply in this thread and said I would probably get up there and check out the new Braves development at some point. But you are going to have to move past the fact that this relocation is not going to cause those in the city to rush out and buy season tickets.

Stop it, please! You're killing me.

Anyway, you already peaked with this bit of projected hilarity:

Guess that one is over my head.

Anything related back on topic anyone care to contribute? Think they will build some sort of entertainment anchor in the development? A Fanplex II?

I'm so dramatic? Am I the one throwing a hissy fit and declaring that I'm no longer going to support the team because they're moving.....GASP....to the suburbs?

You're not dramatic...you're melodramatic.

So the team plans to move across the city limit and now that the stadium will be in Cobb County, you have no interest in the team? REALLY?

I can't even get my head around that thinking. Honestly...as a baseball fan, do not understand it.

Will there be bike racks at the new stadium?

The same thing would happen if the Cubs moved from Wriggly Field to Naperville. Many of the current fans that love the experience and history of the current games in an in-town location would not enjoy a Disney-fication / suburban experience of their games. But they will gain fans that prefer the "safety" of chain restaurants and lack of transit access.
Because Wrigley Field has so much in common with Turner Field... lol

Great comparison

Ok. Insert MLB stadium that is currently located in the in-town area of the city of your choice and replace with a near by suburb.
