Yes--Town Center Mall/Barrett Parkway is close. Also very close by are the following shopping districts:

1. Canton Road
2. Sprayberry/Sandy Plains Road
3. Highland Plaza

Hi there, I grew up in 30066 off of Trickum Road, went to Lassiter HS. This area of East Cobb feels more secluded to me compared to other parts. As far as grocery stores go, there is a Kroger and Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market nearby on Canton Road and a Publix / Kroger at the corner of Sandy Plains & Shallowford which is close by.

For malls / shopping, you will have to go to either Town Center in Kennesaw (10-15 minute drive) or North Point in Alpharetta (30 minute drive). There is also the Johnson Ferry Road corridor 20 minutes away with some big box retail and The Avenue of East Cobb.

Restaurants IMO are iffy in the area. You really have to venture to one of the main shopping destinations for a good variety.

That being said, this area is centrally located between some good shopping areas, the area is safe and still just a short drive to the city (outside of rush hour of course). If I can answer any more specific questions let me know.

I also failed to mention the retail in Woodstock... Woodstock these days has just about everything you need for day to day shopping...the Hwy 92 corridor is probably about 10 minutes from this location.

Kell High School will be close to Ebenezer road as well. Another great school district. Meaning neighborhoods just north of Ebenezer will be zoned for Kell.

This is mostly true. That particular area is where Kell and Sprayberry zones meet.
