I'm somewhat disappointed that he has dated this woman for so many years and even Andrew Young told him to propose years ago but he would not...and now it takes her getting preggers for him to propose. That is disappointing Mr. Mayor. I like him but that is just disappointing. If this is the young woman's doing, I suppose she might have had to do what she had to do to get married. He sure was dragging his feet.... Shame on him.

Hi GTcorndog,
To what type of behavior are you referring and to what segment of society is Mayor Reed affiliated? He is a lawyer and past senator. Now if he was a celebrity, I guess I would say, yes, I see this all the time. Of course, I guess some lawyers and politicians have had some pretty bad behavior in the past that, I guess, makes this type of judgment look mild. I think I'm also annoyed bc he is such a role model and really it would have been more helpful to marry first and then get preggers.

In defense of Mayor Reed - he and his fiancé are both professionals. Who is to say that she was not in a hurry to get married any more than him. She had a good career and I assume a good income.
