Which zip code of Roswell is a better one. Currently my wife and I are looking for a house. We have a child that is 16 months old, my wife is a stay at home mother and I am a young professional that works off exit 5 in Dunwoody as a Technical Consultant. My wife and I are 28 years old and are looking for the quietest part of Roswell or around Roswell, that is the most suburban and the least diverse part of Roswell (no bad point intended). We are looking for the part with the better school system and looking for a home no more than 200k.

Any of your opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

30075 is definitely more affluent. It contains historic Roswell and goes out towards Milton. Just FYI, it's going to be difficult to find a lot of homes in that price point. It's a desirable address and commands a decent price. There are homes out there for the price, but you aren't going to be able to be very picky. Good luck!

There are expensive areas and cheap areas in both zip codes. More important is what side of GA400 you want to be on.

The schools are perceived to be slightly better in 30075 than they are in 30076. Though at your relatively very-low price point of $200k and under (a price point that is particularly low for that area or almost anywhere on the Northside of metro Atlanta), the quality of the schools on either side of Roswell is still extremely high for the most part.

Roswell High School better than Centennial? I've never heard anyone say that.

No worries about who's saying which one is better. They are both good high schools.

How will you deal with being in the least diverse portion when your neighbor who looks different than you moves in?

The best zip is the one closest to your job.

If you're looking for housing for under $200k in North Fulton, you're wasting your time. Decent homes (that don't need much modernizing) and are small still run well into the high $300s. I always tell folks that North Fulton is not like the rest of Atlanta. Affordability is not at the forefront of its selling points. Being exclusive is.
