As great as that looks, the key word as usual is PROPOSED. Metro ATL jumps and and shoots down proposed ideas since the 70's. That is why Matra doesnt run any further than it does right now. There is no reason MARTA should not have been at Winward Parkway by now or even 5 years ago or a line planned to stonecrest, but everything is always proposed and gets voted down.

That is a reason MARTA hasn't expanded yet to Windward PKWY, and it wasn't because it was "voted down" (no such vote would occur since, you know, Fulton county voted for MARTA decades ago). It's a much more practical reason: Money.
