Can anyone recommend a good gay realtor for my partner and I? We are interested in purchasing new/newer construction in the Sandy Springs/Dunwoody area. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

May I ask, respectfully and sincerely, why you would need a "gay realtor", rather than a good realtor? Is it the fear that another realtor would discriminate against you, or is there some super secret gay real estate process that only someone who was gay would understand?

They probably feel that a gay realtor would better understand their perspective and which areas are more open to same-sex couples.

Why would sexual orientation be relevant in a realtor?

Rob Smith of Red Robin Group. They specialize in the intown markets and work in conjunction with Keller Williams. I normally work with his business partner, Melissa, but she couldn't make it this weekend and Rob helped me look at two houses I narrowed down on Saturday.

Rob is wonderful. Very knowledgeable on every aspect from location, to renovating and history of the type and style homes and the area. Very honest and extremely helpful, lots of insight.

Any good realtor, whether straight or gay, should understand the needs of his/her client and be able to advise accordingly. Of course, I'm not gay, so maybe I just don't understand.

Does a black person need a black realtor or a white person need a white realtor? Maybe a short person needs a short realtor to understand the perspective of short people.

Well, technically, the realtor would either need to be short like the client, or squat down to see things from the client's "perspective".....lol
