...as will PCM and KSM, where the stores will be boutiques and the eateries will be gastropub fusion concepts. They're newly-constructed destinations, so their rents will be too high for more down-to-earth businesses to afford. It doesn't pay investors to build something like that if they're not going to cater to people who have abundant disposable income to spend in it.

Yet businesses like Simply Seoul which is strictly a farmers market vendor and catering business now will have a spot at PCM.

I'll chime in... PCM is the project that I'm looking forward to the most for many of the reasons stated by posters, but I think Avalon deserves more credit. It seems like a very well-designed project and the breadth of offerings is pretty impressive. The 97% lease up of retail space six months prior to opening shows that this project is well-conceived. I haven't been to Alpharetta for five years, but I'll head up there to check this out when it opens.

Who cares about a ranking!!? I'm just glad BA, PCM and Krog are coming to the city. Every day, Atlanta is starting to look more and more like the major, international city that it wants to be. This is good. I never could figure out how a major city could shut down at 5 pm when everyone left for work (which was the case when I worked in Midtown 5 years ago). It's a totally different world now and has life in the evenings!

I don't think most people realize how much Lakepoint is going to help Atlanta's economy. They are expecting 6 million visitors annually and I'm sure they are going to want to spend money in all these places
