So, all this time I've lived in Carroll County.. I thought to myself.. I can't WAIT to bust out of here and be in the CITY!
Wow, I was pretty naive and I must admit to my parents being right. While this area does have it's share of rednecks and drug user.. the traffic isn't bad, the crime rate is low and the job market is pretty good. I'm transferring colleges to be closer to home and couldn't be happier about it. If I could afford to live on campus at say, Georgia State.. I don't think it would be AS bad, but I'm thankful I'm able to stay out in the boonies for a little longer. I-20, 285 and GA-400 traffic at 7am is scary.. and I don't want to deal with it any more. |

It's all about where you at in the city, and how you manage the city. I live in Buckhead and work downtown. I rarely have to take the interstates. And if I do, then only on them for a small bit.
But Carrolton, too boonies...crime all the time. And that freakin county commisioner. Yikes! ![]() |

I'm tired of Conyers. I'm already looking for townhouses or houses inside the perimeter for when I transfer to GSU because this commute is driving me crazy. Plus to go anywhere, its a drive. Just frustrating. It never used to annoy me this much when I lived up north but now...ugh....
