Default best way to find a apartment?

i'm looking for an apartment in the sandy springs area, a studio/single or 1 bedroom, hoping to pay $900 or less. I'm newly relocated from long beach, ca and am accustomed to visiting property managers. what is the best way to find an apartment in atl??? i will be living alone so safety is a huge factor, as are bugs thanks!

I used to use apartmentratings.com to read reviews (almost all bad, good experiences are not fun, lol) and get phone numbers to inquire about rates. You can filter down to Sandy Springs.

Try graigslist.com , this helped me a lot finding a home..
However I found out that the best way to fins a home is to drive around in the area.. Many people put a for rent sign up but never post it anywhere...
Good luck!

Promove is an independent service that can help you and they're not tied to any particular management company. Info can be found at Atlanta Apartments from PROMOVE - The Apartment Source. They get a commission on the rentals from the complexes themselves. Other resources I'd check out include looking on Craigslist, posting on Making It In The City, Dream Big. Pay The Rent. forums and driving around, especially at night. I wouldn't trust apartment ratings. Seems like people take out their aggressions on this site!

Default Apartment locators

Try Pro-move.com to help you. Some parts of Sandy Springs-Dunwoody and Alpharetta are good areas to live in. Try the post properties for a good reputation.

Default Promove

I had a GREAT experience with ProMove. They found me a great apartment in Dunwoody and saved me a ton of time driving around and looking at places that I wouldn't have been interested in. I highly recommend them.
