I'm not one for conspiracy theories but the bilderberg conference is fascinating. Very, very secretive and classified meeting of the most powerful men in the world, along with heads of the media.....

If there was such a thing as the "Illuminati", this would be it.

Nah, it's mostly just a bunch of wealthy men sitting around telling each other how much money they made last year and how they can make more money next year by manipulating markets, and nudging governments in the direction they think is best. I think they like the fact there is so much secrecy, adds to the mystique and probably makes them feel more important in their own minds.

I think it's a big feather in Kasim Reed's cap.

If the city is footing the bill I hope he brings home the bacon.

I agree, conspiracy theories and all
Bilderburg/Illuminati/Boule/Divine 9...whatever...I support Mayor Reed and his overall big-picture focus. while there are a lot of ongoing issues (like the absentee landlords), my experiences with the City Government as has definitely improved during his administration. I just hope his expanded exposure to the powers that be don't erode or handcuff his goals for the City/Region.
