A new and improved T-Splost concept is coming. This time to let two counties join together into a single sales tax for specific projects.

I think this is much more reasonable and likely to yield results.

E.g. Fulton County and Cobb gets tired of Braves traffic, they could work together to build transit from Arts Center to Center to K-State.

I would vote no. I do not want my tax money going to Cobb County to fund roads I will drive on.

How about a joint LRT down Northside Pkwy into Cumberland. You can use it to get to the cool new stadium being built in 2017

Who? I don't remember them. All we have are the Atlanta Braves and the Gwinnett Braves.

Ah, you missed the news. The Atlanta Braves are leaving the city of Atlanta for Unincorporated Cobb county. But they are keeping the name to avoid the extra cost of updating their logo.

Don't forget the cost savings in marketing. Its a pretty good strategy, all they have to do is keep saying they are in Atlanta and people will believe it.

Good points tiki. Though since you can write "Atlanta" on an envelope to them, the new stadium must be in Atlanta.
