Camp Creek: Million dollar homes are being constructed around this main artery of burgeoning south fulton
Le Jardin- Just call it The country club of the south- of the southside. This luxury subdivision being built in fairburn is building homes worth up to 10 million dollars
Peachtree City- This planned community attracts upper income families to their distinct villages

Certainly Buckhead would be a higher end area, as well as Vinings in Cobb County, Morningside in Midtown and Alpharetta.

The only thing about the south side is crime. Although the neighborhoods are wealthy, they are surrounded by poor, crime-ridden neighborhoods. And there is nothing worst than black-on-black crime. The poorer blacks feel as if the higher income blacks need to be brought down. That is why many of the famous Blacks live in the northern suburbs except Evander, Ludacris, and some of the other rappers.

Like others have said, they could live anywhere... which can include some in town neighborhoods... parts of Inman Park, parts of Decatur, Virginia Highlands, Poncy Highlands.

Of course many millionaires don't have the fancy houses or fancy cars either (see the book "The Millionaire Next Door") and many non millionaires do have the big houses.

Every county has areas where there are subdivisions that have houses selling for upwards of a million dollars. They aren't all clustered in one area.
I would recommend figuring out where you want to work, and then try looking for your mansion somewhere near there.

Buckhead, Sandy Springs, and Dunwoody inside the perimeter. Alpharetta, Forsyth County, East Cobb, Fayette County, and Peachtree City outside the perimeter. Check out Whitewater Creek in Fayette County. There are gated properties within the gated community!

Funny how many people think Dunwoody is ITP. It's not. Sandy Springs is only partially ITP.
