Where do the Millionaires live?
Where in the metropolitan area do the millionaires live?
I am trying to get an idea of what type of people are in what areas throughout the metro Atlanta area.

Not all millionaires live in big flashy houses, particularly since a million dollars is not what it used to be. That said, I would imagine that many of the homeowners who live off West Paces Ferry Road in Buckhead/North Atlanta probably qualify as millionaires many times over. |

On one of our visits, we ate dinner at a restaurant on West Paces Ferry. We drove by all those mansions. They were amazing. Oh, and we noticed that alot were for sale. What's the deal with that? |

Millionaires live all over... there isn't one central place for them. Buckhead has a bunch, but there are very wealthy people in lots of areas of Metro Atlanta.
Additionally, now a days, many folks live below their means as well as many live above... so you can't presume because of a zip code about a family's wealth.

The largest concentration is in the Paces Ferry Road area of Buckhead but there are rich folks all over. Evander Holyfield who is quite rich lives in south metro. Rich people sometimes don't like living around other rich people so they just buy a few acres somewhere and build a mansion.

Also, the immigrant worker who serves your meal at a local fast food chain can be a millionaire multi-franchisee owner. I have met several.

A few years ago, Alpharetta supposedly had the highest number of millionaires per capita.

I am not looking for the Ritziest place in town, rather some of the higher end areas to live in.
